You know what I hate?

I'm watching the Oscars right now, and the red carpet interviews...And there are some questions being posed that garner answers like 'the character really moved me' or 'there's a lot of that character in my personality' or 'I think this movie will change the world'--bullshit!

The only way an Oscar winning or nominated role moves actors is up the money scale. Take Reese Witherspoon--Oscar nominated performance = Highest paid actress in Hollywood (and unless Condi Rice or Hill Clinton are being paid in the millions--maybe the highest paid woman in the world)

I just wish that they wouldn't take people for fools and just give us a straight up answer. They are entertainers, not gods.
